Rove On The Obama Budget

Posted by: Laer at 01:27 pm

I

n two consecutive tweets, Carl Rove says, “Reading Obama budget: cricized 43 for adding 2.9 tril to debit in 8 yrs … but BHO plans adding 3.2 tril by end FY10, 20 mths, 11 days into term, +4.7 tril win/in 4 yrs. WOW”

Wow, indeed!  But don’t worry, he’s really concerned about passing on a deficit that in any way would burden future generations … you know, those generations that will be trudging, bowed, under a loving mantle of the giant socialist state.

Now two more Rove-tweets:

OMB briefing book: spending up frm 3.982T under 43 to 3.938 under BHO this FY.  Declines to 3.552T next FY – 714B stim/new spending remains! Up to 3.856T by end of term, +29%

With Obama winning the presidency by seven percent, we can't blame the media. Their laudatory coverage and refusal to extensively probe into Obama's background and [lack of] experience was at best responsible for five percent of his vote, the pundits tell us. Here is a compilation of over 100 significant instances of pro-Obama/anti-McCain bias during the 2008 campaign.
