There’s nothing in the stimulus package that would help these folks. There’s precious little in the stimulus package that will do anything anytime soon … other than give Dems borrowed money to hand around in order to build political clout. A cryin’ shame, a criminal carnival of irresponsibility.

Perhaps the Governor of Kentucky should admonish his US Senator for holding up the stimulus package.

Hi Laer,Thanks so much for the link, but even more for writing about this story.The One finally, this morning got around to declaring this a disaster area. Took him what almost two weeks while folks were freezing to death? Needless to say, he’d never actually deign to go there and mix with those bitter white folks clinging to their guns and religion.Come to think of it, seeing how he’s behaved, maybe he’s better off not showing.I also have good memories of this part of Kentucky and it vexed me ( and that’s putting it mildly) to see the way this was treated, not only in the White House but in the media.Regards,Rob
