What a fine selection of bile! I've got a favorite and a runner up. My favorite is Chabon's article. I think it offers a glimpse into our absurd future- where any criticism of President-Elect Obama's policy will be met with anything but a substantive response. I can already hear the charges of "fearmongering" and "racism."
Runner up for ole Gloria Steinem. She is just a gem. Gender as the most restricting force in American life? I'm with you, Mr. Pearce. Stupidity is much more restricting. Although it hasn't restricted Ms. Steinem much. Then she caps off the year saying the only thing Gov. Palin has in common with Sen. Clinton is a chromosome (another deserving piece in its own right).
Great work, Laer!
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('2015','Travis Smith','What a fine selection of bile!
To me, the Mark Morford has always been the ne plus ultra of Leftist idiocy, written by one of the great Leftist Idiots. It's almost a point of pride for me that he writes for my old hometown newspaper -- the SF Chron.
Reply - Quote
