Wednesday Reading - Snowy SoCal Edition

Posted by: Laer at 02:36 pm

I had to venture out in the cold low-40s rain for a lunch with a friend who was just laid off (”Merry Christmas from your boss”), and on the way back, the clouds lifted enough to show the Santa Ana Mountains all decked out in snow.  In other words, it’s a fine day to bundle up with some good reading, and I just happen to have some handy.

Here’s this week’s word-blizzard, courtesy of the Watcher’s Council.  The Council will drink hot chocolate and read the entries, voting tomorrow night, and the Watcher of Weasels will brush the snow off his keyboard and post the winners Friday morning.

Thanks, Watcher! You know, a weasel fur coat would be just the thing on a day like today!

With Obama winning the presidency by seven percent, we can't blame the media. Their laudatory coverage and refusal to extensively probe into Obama's background and [lack of] experience was at best responsible for five percent of his vote, the pundits tell us. Here is a compilation of over 100 significant instances of pro-Obama/anti-McCain bias during the 2008 campaign.
