he deadline for submittals into  this week’s blogospheric blue ribbon contest was such that just a little bit of Chicago politics dirtied up this week’s Watcher’s Council entries, so there’s a healthy smattering of subjects submitted by the Watcher’s Council for their, and your, review.

With Obama winning the presidency by seven percent, we can't blame the media. Their laudatory coverage and refusal to extensively probe into Obama's background and [lack of] experience was at best responsible for five percent of his vote, the pundits tell us.
