Sir,If Governor Palin were to take the RNC chair, wouldn't that make it impossible (or at least extraordinarily difficult due to conflict of interest with other candidates) to run for President in 2012?I for one definitely want her in the mix of 2012 candidates! Â She's my favorite at this early point.Â
Reply - Quote

The rebuttal is simple: Mitt didn't energize the base and speak to the base like Palin did. If he had, he would have won the nomination. Romney has a lot of value to the GOP, but I don't think it's as RNC chair.

Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('1533','Laer','
The rebuttal is simple: Mitt didn\'t energize the base and speak to the base like Palin did. If he had, he would have won the nomination. Romney has a lot of value to the GOP, but I don\'t think it\'s as RNC chair.<\/p>'); return false;">Quote

What we need now is a national leader.Â
I think that the only realistic way that the GOP can produce postitive results for us in 2010 is if we get a national messenger that can immediately get us organized and our message out to produce money to defeat the Democrats.
We need vastly more GOP voter registration efforts, and different strategies in outreaching target groups with conservative principles at the core of those messages.
If we don’t have a leader, then there is no one message - like Newt had with the Contract With America - and therefore no clear vision, no clear message and no clear way to give Conservatives, Republicans and their allies a reason to part with their money to help us achieve victory in 2010.
Message, money and momentum begins with a leader who represents the message, then translates that to momentum, which finally brings money and enthusiasm.
The ONLY person that can bring us all together under one umbrella of conservative priciples and lead us to victory in 2010 and 2012 is Governor Mitt Romney, in my opinion.
I would ask for your rebuttal to my main points for my edificational brain food, if you or any readers don’t mind…read more at my blog.
