The Watcher of Weasels has posted up this week’s chariots in the Ben Hur event of the internet, with blog posts racing wheel to wheel and whips cracking in the sultry Roman air.  Or something like it.

He also posted an interesting commentary on the week, including:

The media is also out defending Barack Obama’s socialist policies. The Chicago Tribune solicited a Communist Party USA leader to counter the argument that Obama is not a socialist and the Kansas City Star released an editorial claiming that “socialist” is a code word for “black”. The stupidity never seems to stop.

Here are the entries.  Council members will submit their votes Thursday p.m. and you’ll see the results here Friday a.m.

Non-Council Submissions

Thanks, Watcher.  Can you get me good seats in the Colloseum?

With Obama winning the presidency by seven percent, we can't blame the media. Their laudatory coverage and refusal to extensively probe into Obama's background and [lack of] experience was at best responsible for five percent of his vote, the pundits tell us. Here is a compilation of over 100 significant instances of pro-Obama/anti-McCain bias during the 2008 campaign.
