Quote Of The Day: Obama The Socialist Edition

Posted by: Laer at 04:50 pm

“It’s not that I want to punish your success. I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they’ve got a chance for success too. My attitude is that if the economy’s good for folks from the bottom up, it’s gonna be good for everybody … I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.” – Barack Obama

O

bama made this comment when answering some tough questions from an Ohio plumber who fears that Obama will penalize his successful business with high taxes. Someone please explain to me how “spreading the wealth around” to people who haven’t earned the wealth is not penalizing the success of the wealthy … and is not socialism.

The exchange was caught on tape – which I hope means we’ll be seeing an ad based on it soon.

Until then, let’s close a little art in the Obama style, shall we?

Always happy when I can use my Russian: “Workers of the world, unite!”  And the verb, soedinyat’ is definitely in the command form, meaning, you don’t have a choice about this.

  2. Scary Black President

These lily-white, suburban Glenn Beck clones only call Obama a “socialist” because they don’t have the balls to call him a “nigger.”

With Obama winning the presidency by seven percent, we can't blame the media. Their laudatory coverage and refusal to extensively probe into Obama's background and [lack of] experience was at best responsible for five percent of his vote, the pundits tell us. Here is a compilation of over 100 significant instances of pro-Obama/anti-McCain bias during the 2008 campaign.
