Obama: “A Rare Appearance” In Senate

Posted by: Laer at 03:47 pm

I

don’t think Politico realized the double-take many will make when reading this account:

Obama returns to Senate

Sen. Barack Obama returned to the Senate floor Wednesday afternoon to speak in favor of the bailout.

In a rare appearance on Capitol Hill, the Democratic presidential nominee said he would vote for the plan.

I’m not sure; has he smashed through the 160-days barrier yet, or is the number of days Obama has actually spent on the Senate floor still in the 150s?  I know it doesn’t matter.  It’s all about his judgment, not his experience.

With Obama winning the presidency by seven percent, we can't blame the media. Their laudatory coverage and refusal to extensively probe into Obama's background and [lack of] experience was at best responsible for five percent of his vote, the pundits tell us. Here is a compilation of over 100 significant instances of pro-Obama/anti-McCain bias during the 2008 campaign.
