Vacation Time

T

ime to pack our bags for our annual sweat-a-thon in the beautiful La Quinta Resort, near Palm Springs. This is a great family tradition that goes back 15 years or so.

It started due to summertime cheap rates, which were a vacation necessity back then (and still no big problem today). But we realized that the beauty of the desert in the summer brings an extra plus: It’s so darn hot that you’re not going to be running around all day, exhausting yourself. We always come home deeply rested and rejuvenated.

I will be blogging over the vacation, but frequency may lag until I’m back to work on the 22nd.

Here is a compilation of over 100 significant instances of pro-Obama/anti-McCain bias during the 2008 campaign.
